Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Open your Word document.
  2. Press Ctrl + H or go to the Home tab and click Replace in the Editing group.
  3. In the Find what box, type the text you want to search for.
  4. In the Replace with box, type the new text.
  5. Click Find Next to locate the first instance.
  6. Click Replace to change it, or Find Next to skip it.
  7. To change everything at once, click Replace All.
